Music Monday
To kick off the first Music Monday I'm going with a song I currently love to listen to as background music. Originally, Florence + The Machine gained popularity through the film Eat, Pray, Love. They have a unique sound that always works great as background mood music when you're just relaxing and flipping through a magazine! Without further ado, here is "Never Let Me Go" by Florence + The Machine!

Well Made Wednesday.
So I've decided to put some structure in my life and thought you might enjoy some regularity as well! Starting today let's kick off Well Made Wednesdays. I see so many neat things online through different sites and blogs that I'd love to plug on here! So on Wednesdays I'll showcase neat crafts, clothes, and finds that strike my fancy and hopefully yours too! Also, look forward to Music Monday next week where I'll share some of my current tune obsessions. I hope y'all like this idea, if not, comment away! :)
For the first Well Made Wednesday I picked a neat dress and milk glass earrings (that would go great with the dress!)

Beautiful.
Beautiful. Why do we crave this word? Women hold onto the dream that a knight in shining armor will utter this word to them breathlessly. Men hold onto this word like gold, only using it on special occasions. Why? I read the book Captivating by John and Stasi Eldredge (which I highly recommend to all women) and it addressed this very issue. Since I am not a man, I dare not address it from their perspective so I will elaborate on ours.
Women truly want to be beautiful, but yet always feel as if they are barely attaining beauty. Therefore, we crave men to fill this void and reassure our beauty for us. Captivating tells us to truly embrace our beauty without the help of man. Yes, this is so much easier said than done. I am a girl through and through and struggle with insecurities every day. But, I always try to just remember, how amazing is it that while I am feeling insecure or longing to hear that word "beautiful" that God is saying it to me all the time. I am truly beautiful to Him, always. He made me in His image and nothing can compare to that. So girls, hold your head high, and know you are beautiful, because you are. Do as my mother always says and Celebrate Yourself! Have fun fixin' up, doting on yourself, and holding your head high because girl, you are full of Beautiful Beauty.

Wow.
Wow. Once again I am reminded of how awesome the Lord is and how small I am in this world. It is amazing how we walk around thinking that we are a large footprint the size of our state, our country. It is even more amazing to be humbled. To realize that we are actually the size of our real footprint (6 1/2 for me... so quite small!). Yes, we still can make amazing differences and touch awesome people. However, we were meant to have the size footprint we truly have. God meant for us to be wonderful children of His, but to realize that we are small in comparison. Our feet can cover vast distances and make deep imprints, but when it all boils down they are still small. To be humble truly is a virtue.
So today, I'm going to remember just how small my feet are and how the person walking next to me is small as well. But because of that I do not need to spend so much time on my thoughts rather than thinking about others. My footprint needs to be my true size and I need to spend time on others and on the Lord because at the end of the day I really shouldn't be spending so much time wrapped up in 6 1/2 inches!

Phew.
The Law School Application Process.
Can I just say that this has been some of the craziest months of my life? I never dreamed that applying for law school would be so taxing and crazy. I've decided what school I'm going to go to though - finally. It's a difficult feat to pour yourself into a process and emerge from the other side. But it can be done.
Throughout these past months I kept thinking back on one thought: God never said it would be easy, just worth it. And it's so true. Although it is hard sometimes we all must take the time to look around and realize our blessings, our blessings through the storm. For a loving companion, devoted family, caring friends, those are true life's blessings. How blessed am I that God puts these trials in my life just to help me make it through! Anyways, here is just some inspiration I found along the way...
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33,NIV)

"For I know the plans I have for you said the Lord, "Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans for your future" Jeremiah 29:11
