Loves.

Like most 20-something women these days I have a few loves (besides boys)...

Marilyn, Audrey, and Coco.

These women led the way in fashion (something I am dearly in love with) so they have in turn led me in life. This is why my first official post must be centered on these three amazing women.

Marilyn Monroe- Her intense sexuality is contagious to any woman. She embodied the female spirit and had the self-esteem we all aspire to. All women have some curve to them and Marilyn showed the world that those curves are beautiful and... that you can't contain a woman.

Audrey Hepburn- With an angelic face, Audrey led the way in... big sunglasses? Well yes, that is true... and it has remained one of the longest trends in fashion history. In every role she played she let her true spunky self shine through. She taught me and women all over that women can be spunky, we don't have to stay confined to societies standards, it's perfectly fine to run in the rain for love. And I simply adore the black capri slacks with ballet flats combo. Who doesn't?

Coco Chanel- Well, where do we begin? This woman really started it all. In World War II she took it upon herself to begin fashion. She created the first designer perfume, Chanel No. 5, as well as blazed the trail in large jewelry accents. We owe so much to Coco. She gave women the independence and determination to turn the fashion industry into an unstoppable force.
